PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The waitress executes meal service and provides an exceptional food & beverage experience to the family and guests. The waitress keeps order in the dining areas and butler pantry, adhering to strict food and safety policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS CERTIFICATION LICENSES
Certification from a recognised Butler School highly regarded
Level 2 - Food Hygiene & Safety
Level 2 - Allergy Awareness
Level 2 - HACCP
Safe Chemical Handling
EXPERIENCE
2+ year experience working as a waitress or butler at a senior level in a 5* establishment.
Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service
KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge in all Arts of Service, particularly Arabic Meze
Advanced food /culinary knowledge - able to understand and explain menus and dishes and prepare the dining area accordingly.
Knowledge in beverages - coffees, teas, juices, mocktails
Advanced pantry management knowledge.
Capable of doing stocktakes and maintaining inventories.
Great attention to detail and creativity
Exceptional personal hygiene and grooming
Exceptional teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
Adheres to and ensures team adheres to food safety policies, procedures and practices.
Working knowledge of MS office skills - word, excel, outlook, ppt
